ReFABed HiFi - 1958 Radio/Phono

— Cottage Piece

The ReFABed HiFi

Piece #2

Another sad and forgotten piece of furniture. This 1958 Sears Roebuck Radio/Phono Combo was rescued from an attic. All of the paint and finish were peeling and flaking off. Wasps had also decided to build their residence on and inside of this wonderful piece of furniture. After wrestling it out of the attic, cleaning it up, and replacing the audio components. The wonderful crackle of new and vintage records resonates through our home.

The old, broken and worn out electronics were removed and replaced with new remote controlled bluetooth speakers which were connected to a sleek and clean Sony PS-LX310BT turntable. We can never make another the same, but if you are interested in saving an old record player from the dump let us know and we can find another to customize for you.
